Cut down, cut stump as low as possible, dispose of debris. Tree to fall in street partially, I will block off a lane with signage and cones when doing so.

REBAR LOCATING – Trees in some sections of Carolina Preserve were planted with steel rebar instead of wooden stakes. I must locate using a metal detector and remove any rebar before stump grinding. It is extremely dangerous to grind a stump without removing rebar first.

FOUND REBAR charged @ $10-$20/piece. Trees typically have 3 pieces, but some have less or none where someone removed it already.

TOTAL (typical): $0-$60 PER TREE

STUMP GRINDING (estimated until after 811 call and inspection work below completed)

Grind stump deep enough for replanting a new tree in place. Grind entire mound area. Grind larger surface roots surrounding stumps where it won’t interfere with lines.

811 locates water and sewer to the curb, electrical, gas, and telecom to the house. Water and sewer generally go straight from the curb location to the house. If there is a question about water and sewer location the customer must waive my liability for these lines.

811 does not mark irrigation systems, low voltage wiring (dog invisible fences, lighting, security, etc.) and other underground systems. Per my waiver, I cannot take responsibility for these unless notified as to their existence and location.

GRINDINGS REMOVAL – Take grindings from main trunk areas and dispose of them to allow for re-planting immediately slightly above grade which will help trees planted in the surrounding compacted soil.

Taking 2/3 cubic yard of grindings @ $150/yd disposed.

If you’d like additional soil removed, I can remove it charged at price of actual material removed.

Tree replacement – HOA size = single stem, 8’+ tall, 2″+ caliper.
