Cut down, cut stump as low as possible, dispose of debris.

REBAR FOUND during grinding but it was not necessary to remove it because of how far out it was located.

REBAR LOCATING – Trees in some sections of Carolina Preserve were planted with steel rebar instead of wooden stakes. I must locate using a metal detector and remove any rebar before stump grinding. It is extremely dangerous to grind a stump without removing rebar first.

FOUND REBAR charged @ $10-$20/piece. Trees typically have 3 pieces, but some have less or none where someone removed it already.

TOTAL (typical): $0-$60 PER TREE

STUMP GRINDING (estimated until after 811 call and inspection work below completed)

I will need to call 811 to confirm utility line locations. 

Grind entire mound area. Come into the area where least removal of shrubs needs to be done and over one course of bricks. Shrub/shrubs will be cut level to the ground so that they might grow back up the following year from their stumps. I will not be able to avoid any drip irrigation hose in the stump or nearby due to the constrained location and size of the stump and cannot assume any responsibility for the irrigation lines. I will place dirt/mulch to build up the ground for the machine going over the bricks but I also cannot assume responsibility for the bricks.

Currently assuming the planting of an HOA-size Crapemyrtle. I have a 15-gallon container on hand which is HOA-size. I don’t know the flower color. However, the price would be $360 instead of $500 because of the smaller container size.—– [General Stump Grinding Information Below] —–

If there is a question about water and sewer location the customer must waive my liability for these lines.

811 does not mark irrigation systems, low voltage wiring (dog invisible fences, lighting, security, etc.) and other underground systems. Per my waiver, I cannot take responsibility for these unless notified as to their existence and location.

OAK GRINDINGS – Remove stump grindings and dispose to allow for replanting in the same location. Replace with soil as needed. I expect 1 cubic yard of debris to be removed as the stump mound is quite large.

If you’d like additional soil removed, I can remove it charged at price of actual material removed.60
